News and Notes:
  • Don't let the record fool you, Norfolk can score with anyone. Goaltending has been the problem this season. Karri Ramo is 36th in the league in save percentage and 43rd in goals against. And the backup Mike McKenna is even worse.
  • Norfolk started the season 1-7-1-1 and has since gone 6-4-0-2.
  • Karl Alzner was injured last night for the Capitals. No telling on how serious the injury is as of yet.
  • Washington doesn't play until Tuesday and the Bears don't play again after tonight until Saturday so there shouldn't be any more call ups.
