News and Notes:
  • Injuries to many of the Capitals could result in at least 1 call up this week. Boyd Gordon, John Erskine, and Jeff Schultz left Monday's game with injuries. They joined Mike Green, Alexander Semin, and Sergei Federov on the injured list. If they are unable to come back you could see a Bear or two (Sami Lepisto has been mentioned) getting called up today.
  • If Sami or another D-Man is called up expect the Bears to recall a defenseman from South Carolina for tonight's game.

UPDATE:

  • Bouque, Lepisto, Alzner, and Mink have all been recalled by the Capitals and are all in Washington at practice.
  • The Bears in turn recalled Maxime Lacroix and Sasha Pokulok yesterday from South Carolina.
  • Michael Dubuc was recalled from South Carolina this morning.
