last time teams met - First meeting this season
Players to watch:
Hershey:
C Kyle Wilson (18)- He scored twice last night to up his total to 3 on the season. He also has 8 assist this year. Hopefully his scoring can continue as the team needs some consistent offensive output.
G Simeon Varlamov (31) - Can he be the #1? We are about to find out. Bridgeport is currently tied with Hershey for the division lead so this is a good test for the rookie goalie.
LW Oskar Osala (36) - With 9 goals and 2 assists he is having a wonderful rookie campaign. The rookie line (Perrault, Bouchard, and Osala) is the only line to sustain pressure lately. He has 4 goals in the last 4 games. He is also leading the Bears with a +10 on the year.
Bridgeport Sound Tigers:
C Mike Iggulden (37) - With 7 goals and 6 assists he is tied for the team lead in goals and points.
D Jamie Fraser (3) - The defenseman has 2 goals and 5 assists so far and is leading the team with a +9.
C Kurtis McLean (71) - Tied for the team lead with 13 points he has 3 goals and 10 assists in 13 games this season.
The Bears are finishing up a 3 in 3 weekend and need to rebound from a tough game last night where they played well but couldn't get the W. Varlamov starts his second game in goal of the weekend and needs to be big in net against a good Sound Tiger's team.
